It is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization that aims to tap into the intellectual and creative potential of Ukrainian society in order to effectively address the challenges of today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MISSION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Foundation provides opportunities for academics, artists and scientists while promoting the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine and its harmonious integration into the world community of free, democratic nations. The Foundation also focuses on the educational and cultural development of children and youth as they are the future architects of positive change in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are certain that the initiatives of cultural diplomacy, cultural enrichment and appreciation of one&#8217;s own history is also a pathway to exploring and understanding other cultures of the world through a meaningful and collaborative exchange of ideas which helps foster tolerance and dynamic social development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DIRECTIONS OF ACTIVITY<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ukraine-21century.com\/en\/programs\/cultural-diplomacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cultural diplomacy<\/a> as an important factor in Ukraine\u2019s representation on an international scale;<\/li><li>Euro-Atlantic integration; Ukraine&#8217;s partnership and its commitment to global development;<\/li><li>Focusing on the personal growth of children and youth which is based on democratic principles and values.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Foundation\u2019s\u00a0 priority areas are in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals for access to quality education (<a href=\"https:\/\/ukraine-21century.com\/en\/programs\/support-of-education\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Objective 4<\/a>) and international cooperation \/ partnership for sustainable development (Objective 17).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FORMS OF&nbsp; ACTIVITY:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Locating and returning Ukrainian antiquities\u2014historical and cultural artifacts\u2014\u200b\u200bthat have been displaced&nbsp; and stored for a long time outside the country;<\/li><li>Conducting historical international museum exhibitions and promoting them through various mediums, such as: audio, video and film, printed materials, postage stamps, etc.;<\/li><li>Proper attribution and restoration of unique and symbolic Ukrainian artifacts;<\/li><li>Support of book publishing activities;<\/li><li>Academic achievement competitions and contests; in the arts and sciences for middle school, high school, and college age students;<\/li><li>Initiatives for psychosocial assistance to children affected by the armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine and social adaptation of migrants from the occupied territories.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bogdan Gubsky Foundation&nbsp; Ukraine &#8211; 21st Century (hereinafter the Foundation) was established in 2000 under the name The Foundation of Intellectual Cooperation Ukraine \u2013 21st Century .
